A DeafBlind Advocacy Workshop Mini-Series
Last call for enrollment in our national advocacy training program and Day on the Hill preparation! Whether you hope to participate in Day on the Hill in person, via Zoom, or are unsure, we encourage you to join us and learn about how to advocate for your loved one!
We want advocacy to feel accessible, supported, and real. On October 6, we will begin a series of simple, practical workshops developed by families for families, focused on equipping you in current advocacy initiatives happening right now in real time.
Our goals are simple:

Connect that experience directly to policy change

Help you feel empowered, not intimidated
This program takes the "overwhelm" out of advocacy by breaking down what you need to know into a few focused sessions.
We will have 3 foundational training meetings:
1. October 6, 2026: Advocacy 101
2. October 20, 2026: Power of Your Story (with writing workshops)
3. January 26, 2027: DeafBlind Policy Now! (focused Day on the Hill prep)
Each session is scheduled to start and end at:
- 4 PM - 5:30 PM PST
- 5 PM - 6:30 PM MST
- 6 PM - 7:30 PM CST
- 7 PM - 8:30 PM EST
You'll receive ongoing support along the way from experienced families!
FATE FORWARD is free to members and $25 for nonmembers.
