The National Center on DeafBlindness (NCDB) offers an online training on The Role of Interveners in Educational Settings, Module 3 from the Open Hands Open Access (OHOA) DeafBlind Intervener Learning Modules.
Parents can learn about the role of interveners, the principles of intervention, and how interveners function as members of a student’s educational teams.
Learn MoreIt is a support group that meets for 5 consecutive months, offering a series of web-based, peer-to-peer meetings where parents who have lost a child will have an opportunity to process their grief and learn about coping strategies that have helped others. The meetings are held twice per month. We are asking interested parents and guardians to commit to the entire 5-month series.
