In the spirit of DeafBlind Awareness Week, of "breaking barriers and building bridges," we want to do exactly that for our fellow families! We want advocacy to feel accessible, supported, and real. This September, we are sharing a series of simple, practical workshops developed BY families FOR families, focused on equipping you in current advocacy initiatives happening right now in real time.

Our goals are simple:

• Honor your lived experience

• Connect that experience directly to policy change

• Help you feel empowered—not intimidated

Built around busy families:

• 2 foundational training meetings

• 1 hands on writing workshop

• Optional drop in practice meetings 

• Ongoing support along the way from experienced families who advocate!
