The 2016 Symposium – MOBILIZING A NATIONAL FAMILY LEADERSHIP NETWORK: Improving outcomes in education and services for individuals who are deaf-blind was a rousing success. From July 15-18, family members from across the country gathered in Austin, Texas at St. Edward’s University for two and half days of learning, networking, and mobilizing. They, along with family specialists, Deafblind speakers and artists, and professionals from many organizations spent several days increasing their knowledge about a variety of topics and honing their leadership skills. Please read the Symposium Impact Summary and enjoy the photos.
